Our first full day in Istanbul had us catching up with our friends Mike and Chris, and visiting the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque from the outside. We had booked tickets to go inside for later in the visit and this was a chance for us to appreciate them from the outside as well as the historic precincts around them. Getting a snack was inevitable and fried corn hit the spot.
