On the slippery dips

 The girls had a great time on the slippery dips, aka slides. Particularly EV who was up and down for ages.

Bike party

 The girls really enjoyed riding their bikes and scooter throughout the party. They got the birthday boy to go and ride with them for a little bit. They even managed to find a secret spot that they made their own. Of course a little silliness and mischief wasn't far off, particularly after a sugary cake.

Back to Sydney Park

 We went to a birthday party at the park but first we rode through the park a bit. The girls also wanted to go across the stones in the stream. They certainly enjoyed themselves as they made their way around.

Morning smoothy

 MV really wanted a smoothy and got to have a partially frozen one. Of course the problem with a frozen smoothy is that a person gets cold. MV solved that problem though and thoroughly enjoyed her smoothy.

Decorating for Halloween 2021

 After the gardener came by we decided to put up the halloween decorations. The girls put all of the things out and played with them before we actually put things up. We don't have too many decorations so it didn't take too long, but it was still fun to do. 

Indoor fishing

 The girls got the fishing game out and have been playing. They played together quite nicely including sharing and working together.

Dinner on the water

 After swim lessons we went to celebrate a successful outing. We ended up driving out to Abbotsford and in fact all the way to the end of the peninsula. There is a good restaurant there which overlooks the water and it had plenty of outdoor seating. It was a lovely spot but it was clear that we (the kids mostly) were out of practice with regards to restaurant behaviour. It was mostly good and definitely something we can work on.
