Burning off energy

It was a rainy day but MV and SV had too much energy. We took them to jungle buddies for a good run around. MV took a little bit of time to get used to it as she was a bit overwhelmed. SV was a good sister and played with her and got her comfortable before she went off to play with other bigger kids.

After dinner snack

After dinner the girls were still a bit hungry for a snack. They ate some dried fruits. SV finished quickly so she got to play a game learning how to spell different words. MV took a bit longer learning about the different fruits and their textures.

Little trouble spots

MV is getting to be such a cheeky monkey playing with everything. She is pretty cute though and so we let her have fun. But sometimes she takes it too far and becomes entangled in her own game a bit too much and requires a bit of a rescue.

Meeting up with Hunter

We met up with Hunter and his Mum as they made a flying visit from Dubai. They were in town for 60 hours which seems quite dramatic, but they handled it very well. SV really enjoyed catching up with her friend and in fact with the rest of her friends from mothers group. MV was also happy to just run around and play with everyone and by herself.

Dinner visit

Our friends Dusan and Miea brought their kids over for dinner. It was a lot of fun with the five kids getting along really well. The age differences only made it more fun for them it seemed. Although SV wasn't so sure before they came over, but quickly changed her mind.

A bit of contrast

While SV and MV are very similar in so many way, they are also quite different. It makes it a pleasure for us to watch them grow and develop. In these photographs we photographed them differently to highlight the difference.

Last little bears

These two little bears went outside to play for a bit and help with the laundry. We knew that in order to keep them happy though we had to bring them inside and feed them at least a little bit otherwise they would get grumpy. Possibly even attack!
