Mellow parts of the trip

 We managed to get a little bit of down time on the holiday and enjoyed some really tasty meals too. For a special occasion we went to a Persian restaurant which was fantastic. We also had take away Mexican food which was really delicious, even by California standards. And of course there were the morning coffee runs while admiring the sun rising over the high rise buildings. The girls were extremely well behaved throughout, even when they were tired. Goes to show that we should be travelling more often, ha ha.

Family pool time

 After a big day at the theme park it was really nice to come back to the hotel and go for a swim in the pool. We all got to go and have a dip and relax, although some of us relaxed more than others who may have been jumping around having fun.

Second day of rides and animals

 On the second day we went back to the theme park to try other things out. We did go back to some of the rides as well though. MV was really keen to go on The Claw which was quite exciting and she of course liked it a lot. Unlike her sister MV really likes to go upside down, but she did convince SV to go on The Claw as well. We also got to watch the tiger show which was really good, EV noticed one of the tigers poop into the pool and thought it was the funniest thing ever. On the way out SV got a caricature done of her which was hilarious. KT drove back to the hotel in our exciting electric car which was really fun to drive.

EV's little rides

 EV got a turn to ride the rides which were actually designed for her. The bigger girls went along too and they had some fun together. It is really nice that they can enjoy all sorts of stuff and don't get upset having to go on the kid rides.

Lego sculpture photos

 On the way out of the park we passed through an area which had a bunch of lego sculptures with which the girls posed. We also had to go through the lego shop itself which was fun, despite not making a purchase.

Looking in at the animals

 After all the thrills we decided to calm things down a bit and go look at the animals and drive the old cars. Along the way the girls got to snap a virtual whip to knock the cans off the fence. They all did quite well. 

The biggest of the rides

 We ended up going to the newest and most exciting ride, the Taipan. TV and SV rode it first, with SV commenting that there was too much time upside down. TV quite liked it and went again. MV was really disappointed that she was just a little too short, more on this later. KT also got to ride by herself and had a great time. EV was just happy to jump off the rocks and play with the stones.
