Couple of portraits

 TV took the girls outside for some portraits to keep them occupied but only SV was at all keen. Here are a couple of her, she was quite contemplative. Until Horsey came into the picture anyway.

Working a puzzle over

 MV and EV were working on a puzzle together but then MV decided to use the puzzle pieces a bit differently. She used them to make outlines and then labelled them with the appropriate animal before handing them to EV to put in the correct place. She then made a long picture of the animals. We're not entirely sure why EV was on the table, perhaps pretending to be a cat all week has rubbed off on her.

Flying a kite

 It has been a windy couple of days. We decided to take advantage by grabbing the kite and heading to the park. TV gave the girls some instructions and then let the girls fly it. There were a few attempts, but ultimately they got it to fly. Everyone got a chance to launch and fly the kite.

Quiet lego time

 EV took herself off upstairs to quietly play with legos. This gave her sisters time to work on their school work. EV played by herself for almost an hour, making up games with the lego horses. It was cute to listen to her narrate the story and play with the figurines.

Start of home schooling 2.0

 As lockdown has been extended we have been forced into home schooling again. This time we are applying some of the lessons we learned from our first experience. Taking the things that worked, like writing the lessons for the day on the whiteboard, and not doing things that weren't helpful. One thing we are definitely more relaxed about are doing activities on zoom, like dance. Also not worrying quite as much about getting every single activity done every day. Fingers crossed things go smoothly.

SV's Lunch Counter

 SV really wanted to make lunch for the family so she came up with a lunch menu. She then made whatever people ordered from the menu. It was really nice and everyone enjoyed it. She did a good job and we really appreciated it.

Full make up

 MV and SV used KT's makeup with her permission and fully applied it to their faces. Considering they didn't get help and that it was the first time they used proper make up, they did quite a good job. It was definitely dramatic though.
