Another TV birthday
TV celebrated another birthday and it was lovely. A very low key day relaxing and spending time together. In the evening TV and SV went to get dumplings and we all had our fill. It was a very tasty dinner followed by a rice crispies cake. We followed up with sparkling and gifts as befits a celebration of this nature. After the kids went to bed we had a date night, movie and more sparkling.

Early morning games
MV and SV woke up and just felt like playing games. They started by playing Pokemon even before anyone else woke up. They then worked on puzzles before moving on to a mouse trap since EV wanted to join in.

Mouse trap
KT and TV always wanted to own the game mouse trap and play it but they never got it as kids. So while TV was shopping for a birthday gift for MV he saw it and got it for the family. Once home we set it all out and played a game. Everyone joined in the fun and a lot of mice were captured in the elaborate trap.

Sunglases for the walk
EV and MV were going for a walk and it was a really sunny day. They both picked out their shades before posing for a quick photo. Both of them are very keen walkers whereas SV needs to be dragged out the door. Of course once she is outside she has a great time just like her sisters.

Tiny green thumbs
EV was helping TV plant and replant some of the plants. She was really happy to help put dirt into the pots. She felt that the plants would do better if they got a kiss as well, just so they know we care. Then she helped water them as well, very helpful.

The poppy project
MV and SV decided to do an Anzac Day project. Completely on their own they thought up the idea of a mosaic and poppy project. They worked out a general concept and then just got stuck into it. It took them all day of diligent work to complete their design. They had fun along the way including doing poppy hands. The final piece was really neat and well worth the time.

Lest we forget
Even in isolation Anzac Day was a solemn morning. Almost all of the neighbours were ouside along with us at 6am to commemorate the day. It was quite a poignant as at one end of the street we could hear someone play a bugle and on another street someone played the Last Post.
