It has been raining all week which meant this weekend was always going to be hard. The girls have been at home and we have been so mean because we aren't letting them watch tv all day. So they are bored and sulking around a bit. Not to worry though, a few minutes after these photographs they launched into a different game and everything was ok.
EV pulled out a board game and started playing it. Soon KT came down and joined in as well. They had a good time playing as they searched for different things. EV really enjoyed the game and the time with her mum.
TV took the girls to a park that was set up more as a wild space. Although it is very finely curated and maintained. The girls really enjoyed it. They explored the full park and then played in two areas. The water play space and the bamboo slide area. Afterwards they also had fun collecting acorns and the 'hats'.
These three little thugs went to the park where they caused all sorts of trouble. Then they went and loitered on a street bench for a while. Such behaviour! Back in our day we would never do that.
The girls received some workbooks from Grandma Cece and they have been working through them. EV was quite serious as she set up her work space and got to work. MV was no less serious, but took a less formal approach.
This little toddler has been quite helpful. She is learning to cut things with a proper knife. We had Setsuna supervise, but she wasn't convinced that she was qualified to do that. Everything ended well and Setsuna got a nice snack out of it. EV also cut veggies for our salad which was quite helpful.
