Captivated

After a big day of playing a movie is a nice reward for these two. They do get absolutely engrossed in the movie though and very little can pull them away. They enjoyed it though.

Playing board games

It's a good thing that SV now has a second sibling because she needs someone else to play games with. Of course it will be more than just a few minutes before that will work well.

Book week 2018

SV and MV each picked out a book character that they liked. SV was the little girl Sasha from the book Bonny Legs. MV was Elsa from Frozen. Both were quite satisfied with their costumes and got lots of praise at school.

More cuddles with Slushy

We all had a couple more cuddles with Slushy while still on the inside.

Thai lunch

We visited our favourite Thai place in Bondi Junction again. It had been quite a while since our last visit but our lunch did not disappoint. The laksa was still fantastic and the kids enjoyed their noodles as well. We'll be back again for sure.

More from the beach

It has been a while since we've been to the beach, so the girls really enjoyed themselves. Running and jumping in the waves. They ran around the beach as well and dug around in the sand. We ended up having to rinse them off because they were covered in sand and the car would have turned into a sand pit.

Winter at the beach

It has been a very mild winter, so much so that we went to the beach. The water was cold but there were plenty of people swimming and surfing. The girls went in the water but didn't quite go swimming. We climbed over the rocks to the pool where a mini photo shoot was taking place. Didn't stop us from walking through though and sitting by the pool for a while. Eventually we went back to the beach where KT and Slushy were soaking up the sun.
