Mark at the ball game (well multiple games)

As it turned out PB was having a "Rugby Day" when Mark arrived in Sydney so we all took the train to Sydney Olympic Park to watch the Wallabies take on the French team. TV was a bit mismatched wearing a french shirt and a Wallabies scarf. We had a pleasant ride to the game with some of our friends and KT made a new friend, the air wiggler guy. We had some great seats and enjoyed an adult beverage despite the cold. There were a few token French supporters in the crowd despite overwhelming yellow crowd. We had a good time especially since the Wallabies managed to win nicely.

The following week Mark and TV went to the Sydney Swans match, an Australian Rules game. It was a beautifully warm day, with another set of good seats. We met up with Adam and his friend before seeing Jarryd and his crew at the field. The Swans ended up winning a good game that kept going back and forth. After the game the fans were invited to go onto the field and take photos. Taking a footy ball onto the pitch and kicking it around was also encouraged and in fact part of a tradition. It was definitely an experience to go to both matches which were very different. That concludes the photos of Mark's Sydney stay, so until next time, keep it classy.
