Dancing the backyard

It was a lovely morning and these two really felt like going outside to do a bit of dancing. I had a bit of a snack before starting though, just to make sure they didn't run out of energy.

Chilly Willy at the park

EV isn't a penguin but she looked pretty cute in MV's jumper which she wore since she got chilled. The two of them played quite nicely while we waited for SV to finish her kung fu class. This was probably the first time that EV has been to this park, which is hard to believe as SV used to go there almost every day at that age. Long time readers may have recognised it as the park that was near our previous apartment.

Playing a new board game

 Despite having to go to school, the girls got EV's new board game out and started playing it. We had to rush them a bit towards the end so they weren't late, but despite that they had a nice morning playing the game.

EV's gifts

 While EV didn't get too many gifts she was really happy for each one. Particularly because we gave them to her. She thought the handshake tradition was great. She also seemed to enjoy being the centre of attention as we celebrated.

EV's 2nd birthday cake

To say that EV was excited about her second birthday cake would be an understatement. She really enjoyed the entire spectacle.

Brithday treat and dance

 EV got to have some popping pearls as a treat after her lunch. She really enjoyed them. She was still feeling jazzy when her sisters came home and did a little birthday dance to celebrate. 

EV's birthday lunch

KT and TV took her out for lunch to celebrate. It was really lovely to have some time with just the three of us. EV really enjoyed having us to herself. She likes the Japanese lunch as well, especially the giant whale suspended from the ceiling.
