Lunch with Cheryl

 The ladies got all dressed up to see Cheryl, Auntie Jeanna and Uncle Richie. We were excited to see all of them after such a long time. We were then lucky enough to have lunch with Cheryl.

Waking up at the house

 We all woke up and made ourselves comfortale in the new house. The girls each had breaky at a different table before going into the backyard and playing. They enjoyed the grass quite a bit but EV especially enjoyed the blackboard. They alsofound the lure of the big driveway irresistable we went and played handball on it. It was a nice start to the break.

Heading on a trip

 We packed a whole bunch of stuff and headed on our first international trip in almost 3 years as a family. We were all excited to be on the road and skies again. We had quite a few things with us this time as we had lots of presents and things to bring to the US. We ended up having to get one of the biggest taxis just to get to the airport. Once at the airport we had a fair amount of paperwork to get done but then it was straight to the lounge for some refreshments. The first flight to New Zealand was very pleasant and we got through it in good spirits. The Auckland airport was almost entirely shut though which was a bit weird. Eventually we did get on our second flight on which we managed to get a bit of rest. Although EV was just about the only one who slept a significant amount, the rest of us just snoozed a bit. The important thing of course was that we managed to get there with our bags and in good health.

Sending bunny on holiday

 Setsuna gets to go on holiday and go make new friends while we are away too. The girls had to say good bye to her which proved to be quite difficult. They were all quite sad to see her go but they are excited for when we get back so we can see her.

Revisiting swim lessons

 MV and SV have been doing their swim lessons every week and have both moved up in their levels. They are both swimming heaps better with SV now gliding through the water. MV is working on her strokes and feeling at home in the water.

Hungry bunnies and hippos

 EV was wearing her bunny pyjamas and playing hungry hungry hippos with Setsuna. The bunnies were competing against the hippos to see who would get the most balls. Spoiler alert, it was EV.

One more MV match

 We all attended one more MV match. This time around we brought extra supporters for her, which SV set up and photographed. MV had another good match and her whole team has improved very much. She made some good stops and passed the ball to her team mates several times. SV and EV have also started making friends which made the match more fun for them.
