Morning sticker time

Another creative morning, this time with stickers. SV was really good to share her stickers and helped MV with the stickers. They played nicely together with SV drawing and MV adding stickers over the top.

Sleeping kitties

For some reason SV came up with the idea that cats should have blankets on as they sleep and walk around. So that is exactly what they did. They had fun though.

Art morning

The girls got their supplies ready before launching into their art. They are quite creative and patient in the mornings. It's best to get them set up and let them at it. Generally something good comes out of it.

Before school portraits

We took a couple of portraits before school since the girls were in a great mood.

Spring roll makers

KT showed the girls how to make their own spring rolls. SV was quite interested and she generally enjoys making her own food. MV is still a bit too young and is usually only interested for a few minutes before moving on.

Post hike lunch

Nothing like a hike to get those digestion juices flowing. We stopped in and had a nice lunch looking out over the road and the rail tracks. It was really enjoyable, possibly because we worked hard. After lunch we went to an apple orchard to pick some apples before heading home from a very lovely weekend. Unfortunately we were a bit late in the season and the apples were mostly picked. It was still quite nice including the view of the blue mountains.

Hike out

Hiking back up hill is always hard work, but carrying a 12kg baby on your back certainly makes it even more work. To be fair MV was pretty keen to get out and walk before getting worn out. SV had heaps of energy, even after the hike out. She had no problem striking a pose before run off some more.
