Pressies from Babicka

We finally had time to open a couple of presents from Babicka for MV's birthday. There were quite a few gifts to occupy our attention. We all appreciated our gifts and immediately began playing and modelling them.

New drivers

TV was fixing a leak on the car and the girls enjoyed playing inside. MV thought she was so cheeky driving the car. SV also found a cheeky activity in trying on KT's glasses. It was certainly a fun way to 'fix' the car.

Little birds on a wire

Not literally of course, but they certainly looked like it. Both were dressed up but they had to wait for TV to get ready. It was ok as they had entertainment which worked quite well.

Lego morning

Actually it started out finishing up some puzzles before we moved on to lego after breaky. MV enjoyed working with her bigger legos while SV worked on a helicopter she got as a bday present for TV. Then somehow MV ended up big boxes on her head. We're not sure how that happened.

Costco revisited

Not surprising really. We like going there for some of their items and then to have a quick lunch.

Morning puzzle

MV and SV felt like working on puzzles this particular morning. I worked pretty hard for almost an hour putting together several. They only stopped for a quick yoghurt and to make some funny faces for the camera.

Family bike ride

We had a sunny 'winter' day so we decided to go for a family bike ride. KT was a bit nervous which was reinforced with SV being a bit shaky at the start. As we went along though, everyone got more comfortable and had a good time riding on the river trail casually. We spent some time at the park as well for MV and SV to burn off a bit more energy, and to have a snack before heading home.
