Last week we went back to Fiji, but this time with our friend Jody. We went to a very nice island that had several small villages of native Fijians and the one resort that we stayed in. We had a really wonderful time as can be seen from our photos. There were heaps of things to do, but we managed to relax on the beach at least a little bit. One day we took an excursion to see the local kindergarten with some of the other guests, and it was a really good experience. The kids were wonderful. We also enjoyed several bowls of Kava, the local drink of choice, along with the accompanying ceremony. Kt and Jody took part in some weaving classes as well which they enjoyed. When there were waves we managed to have a good time and frolic in them and consequently getting a little burned. Overall a very enjoyable holiday, with a small hicup or two.
