MV and EV were keen to ride around in the off road vehicles around the property. TV and Brad were quite happy to oblige and drove around. They also went to another empty space where they could drive around. The girls had fun but in a safe way without going too fast or too bumpy.

Rediscovering toys
Babicka pulled out some boxes from her storage area which had all sorts of toys. The girls had a great time going through the board games and various stuffed animals. TV found his roller blades which still fit and he managed to skate around in them without falling, bonus! Although the best find of all was a clay school bus with photographs of Uncle Richie from year 3 or 4 which he made at that time.

Exploring the waterfall pool
The girls were keen to get into Babicka's new pool and climb all around the waterfall. Although Brad may have been even more keen as he jumped in even before them. The water was refreshing and having some cold beverages delivered made it even more relaxing.

Exploring the property
The girls were excited to explore Babicka and Brad's property. The younger two got to drive the Bobcat buggy around and we all explored the new RV too. It was great to see all of the improvements they made around the property too. It's looking very tidy and neat, neat and tidy.

Spending time with cousins
The girls got to spend some time with their cousins from Texas before we had to part ways. They had fun just being silly and it was impossible to get all 5 of them to be serious long enough for one photograph. It was fun to see them together like that though.

Grant Grove
Our last stop was at Grant Grove to look at the second largest tree in the world, the General Grant tree. It was a short walking loop that we went on which included a path through a hollow log. We enjoyed walking through the log so much we did it twice. Also we got to see the first cabin in the national park for the cavalry unit who eventually became park rangers.

Sequoia look out
As we were heading out of the national park we stopped along the way at a look out. The view was great but also sad as we could see some of the devastation from last year's bush fires. It was of course important to see and MV was very keen to get the best view possible. She's a bit of a fearless explorer and climbed to the highest vantage point.
