It's hard to believe that the littlest member of the family is now two. The time has really passed by in a blur. She seems so small and yet she is also so big. She is very independent and happy to play with the big kids and try to do what they do. Happy birthday!
Before school Super Cat and Rainbow Unicorn Pegasus played very nicely together. TV tried to work but it was to no avail as the two of them made sure to involve him in their play.
The girls got to have one more play with their friends before the weekend was over and we all headed back home. MV and SV enjoyed watching the video games briefly but soon they wanted to do other things. On the way home SV even said that she had wished that we hadn't brought the vide games with us so that she could have played with her friends more, and MV agreed. Meanwhile EV became friends with Betty the dog over the course of the weekend. When they first met EV wanted nothing to do with Betty and was quite scared, but by the end she was giving her cuddles and sharing her pop corn.
We used the wood fire pizza oven to bake some tasty pizzas. The kids were quite excited to make pizzas and then ate them really quickly. After dinner they each got a couple of sparklers to play with. MV enjoyed it but SV was quite scared. Eventually she played with one as well, but still didn't love it.
After quite an exciting bushwalk we were all tired and happy for a relaxed afternoon. The kids read books quietly at first and then once EV woke up they got to play some video games. After a while EV got bored and took herself off to do a bit of drawing.
We continued walking to some of the other waterfalls. SV really enjoyed climbing and adventuring. She explored everythign along the way. MV was happy to walk along with her friend, but couldn't resist the urge of a log to climb on. She wasn't the only one.
We all went for a bushwalk to see Horseshoe Falls and three other waterfalls. It was a nice bushwalk with a couple of challenging sections. It was a perfect day for it, warm but not too hot and the challenging sections only served to make it more interesting. Everyone had a buddy so they had someone to chat to along the way.
