H.P. birthday party

The birthday party had a Harry Potter theme which was actually quite fun. We had a bit of fun with it. It was interesting to see that SV liked the games, but she really preferred to make her own games up with the other kids.

Park bday party Part 1

SV's school chum was having a birthday party in the park. We went to have a bit of a play since it was a park. Both the girls had fun running around playing, SV with her friends and MV with TV. It was interesting to see SV play with her friends. She took a while to observe to see how the dynamics worked and then ended up leading some of the playground games.

Lunch in the park

We went to the park for a bit of a play, and ended up staying for some lunch too. The girls were playing so well together that it was a shame to make them leave. They ended up having a good lunch before running off to play more. They certainly burned off some of their energy.

Making a birthday card

SV was going to a birthday party and wanted to make a card herself. Here she is focusing and then her finished product.

Little park incident

We rode the bike to our old park for a bit of a play before dinner. Unfortunately going into through the gate SV scratched her finger which bled quite a bit. Unfortunately we didn't have a band aid, so TV improvised a bit and came up with a solution. Afterwards they both played, but MV definitely enjoyed herself more.

Fire station visit

Our local fire station was having an open day so we got ready and headed over. Once we got there we ended up having to wait for a bit as the fire truck was out for a call. Eventually we and about 50 other people got to go inside. The girls really enjoyed looking around at everything, especially the fire truck. It was interesting how some of the parents became rude and a bit pushy. Luckily we are tough and we refused to get pushed aside.

Tucking in SV

MV is in the tucking people to bed stage. SV certainly went through it. MV is currently trying to get everyone to lay down and go to sleep, whether they want to or not. SV graciously volunteered to have a pretend nap.
