Reading in an easter hat

SV was busy reading her book in her easter hat. MV wasn't quite as interested in reading or easter hats. She played with the double deck bus for quite a while.

In and out of the cot

As MV gets bigger, her cot is getting closer and closer to being converted into a bed. The girls are therefore taking advantage of the time they have left in it.

Buns and bread

The girls had a bit of a leftover dinner. A bit of a Chinese bun and some garlic bread among other things made for an interesting dinner. The girls liked it and got a bit silly about it.

Wrapping up at Taronga

We had a good time at the zoo and made sure to ride the gondola. We even even had fun while having our lunch. After that we saw one or two more things before heading home. MV fell asleep almost instantly in the car. SV had a good rest too. Just too exciting.

Exploring Taronga

After a snack we went exploring through the zoo. Taronga has all the usual animals and at the moment they have the vivid light sculpture animals as well. There are also quite a few things for the kids to do throughout the zoo. SV and MV made sure to take advantage of them and had fun doing so.

Playground at Taronga

After the Australian animals we passed the flower clock and happened on to the playground. The girls really enjoyed it, each finding their own activity. Both were quite independent and happy in the fact. Afterwards they needed a toilet and refuelling stop before we headed on.

Australian animals at Taronga

We went to Taronga Zoo to have a look at the animals. We started with the Aussie animals which MV loved. We could get quite close to them which was fun. SV was less impressed, but eventually she enjoyed it as well joining MV in pretending to be a kangaroo.
