Apparently it is a tradition to make funny hats for Easter at school. SV was very excited to make one, and she even helped MV make one too. Here is SV modelling the hat she made all by herself before school.

Lovely twinsies
It was a bit chilly after dinner so the girls put on jumpers. SV was a great big sister as she helped MV put on her jumper before putting her own on.

Dumpling lunch
After a big day of exploring, what better to have for lunch then dumplings on Thomas St?! We all really enjoyed it as we got all of our favourites, including enough left overs for lunch the next day. KT couldn't quite believe her eyes at how both MV and SV cleaned up the dumplings.

Powerhouse Museum continued
As we made our way through the museum the girls found some interactive exhibits. Each had fun in a different way. We got to the kids portion of the Egypt exhibition where they got to dig for artefacts and use a scale to weight bricks. There was also a pond for them to play on. The last thing we visited was the Wiggles exhibit where they got to explore and dance. After three or four hours we only saw about half the museum, so we will definitely need to go back. Anyone want to come along?

At the Powerhouse Museum
When the museum finally opened we went in to have a look around. One of the main attractions besides the trains, was the Egyptian mummy special exhibit. SV is quite interested in mummies so she enjoyed walking through the exhibit and seeing the four different mummies and their various burial artefacts and stories. MV sort of hung back and observed. The Powerhouse Museum has quite a varied collection and we only just started exploring it.

Outside the museum
We got to the museum too early and so KT had a coffee while the kids played on the playground. Everyone was happy. The climbing net and the spinning pole were definitely the favourite apparatuses for the day.
