Dinner and party time

SV was excited about dinner of haluski and then a special dessert. She was a bit worried about the candles, but she eventually blew them out to enjoy her treat.

For her birthday day SV got a package of gifts. Some of the gifts were for MV and EV as well and she was very gracious about having everyone open gifts.

As a bit of an aside, this is our 3,000th post. Thank you all for coming along on part of all of the journey with us. Here's to many more posts!

Plays hard and rests hard

EV really likes to play hard, but sometimes she plays a bit too hard. This time she didn't even make it back to bed.

SV's birthday lunch

SV got to choose her activity on her birthday and the lunch afterwards. She wanted to go see a movie and then playing in the arcade briefly. She then chose (surprise) dumplings for lunch. When we got home she opened a few more presents. It was a very nice day and she had a really good time.

SV turns 7

For SV's 7th birthday she came downstairs to find balloons and streamers throughout the house. She really enjoyed that treat. She got to open some of her birthday cards and presents too. She usually only opens a handful because she really likes to play with them before moving on to the next present. MV also got a few things to open and play with. They both enjoyed their presents thoroughly.

Big business baby

While SV and Grandma CeCe played games after breaky, EV was luxuriating in a big bed. She certainly seems to know she is in charge.

Big yawn time

SV got EV to start yawning, and then they both started yawning too. Can you look at the photographs and not have an urge to yawn? We certainly couldn't.
