Couch picnincking

After a big day of activities and good behaviour, it was nice to be able to reward the girls with eating watching a movie while picnicking on the couch.

Little motorcyclists

MV and SV both wanted to get a taste of riding the motorcycle. They thought it was the funniest thing ever. Pushing the boundaries.

Hippo park revisited

We took MV to the hippo park for the first time. The hippo proved to be a popular toy for her as it did for SV when she was that age. Meanwhile SV found one of her school chums and ran around with her for most of the time. They both had a good time and proved that the hippo park is a good place to go.

Going out to BBQ

The girls and TV caught up for dinner with our friends. We got there a bit early and there was a bit of a dispute while we waited. Eventually it got sorted and then they both were drawing happily. When everyone got there we had the BBQs started and we had a feast. It was good food and we had quite a bit of fun.

Dress ups and stripes

MV chose the Ana dress as her outfit for the day while SV went all stripes. They got all dressed up to work on their art. SV was also working really well on her numbers.

Mathletics

After school SV usually goes in the backyard for a bit of a play. This time she noticed our native plant having a nice big flower opening up and wanted to show us and Setsuna. She then does a few practice readings or in this case her new maths program, mathletics. We noticed that her number knowledge, addition and subtraction are really improving quickly, the program is helping with that.

Fun with inner tubes

The girls got pool inner tubes from somewhere, but since it's starting to be winter we don't have the pool up. So what is a kid with an inner tube to do you might ask? Use it as a hula loop apparently.
