Lawn bowls with Uncle Jonathan

Uncle Jonathan had a good idea to go lawn bowling. We had a great time despite the fact that the pitch had some bindis forcing us to put our shoes back on. SV enjoyed the bowls along with some other activities. She ended the day with a big dinner and a good sense of accomplishment mixed with exhaustion.

Last of the presents

We opened the last of the presents, these ones being from Babicka. SV enjoyed it and when we told her she should hold off playing with some of the toys until our camping trip, she was happy to oblige. We were pleasantly surprised that she didn't mind.

More swimming with goggles

Finally after what seems like ages SV is finally getting the hang of closing her mouth when she swims (sometimes). She has been spluttering a lot less and has been practising with her swim goggles. She isn't super keen on getting her face in the water yet, but she is working on splashing her face without blinking too much.

Manly beach tour

We took Andrea and Jonathan to Manly to enjoy the warm day and have some fun. Manly is a good place to visit, but this time it was really busy. We made the most of it including getting in a nap. The ferry ride over proved to have been too stimulating for some. There was a bit of swimming and a bit of sand playing done before we headed back on the ferry which could quite possibly have been SV's favourite part of the day.

Little red dress

This kid really likes her new dress and she is happy to start some mischief. TV and SV went to Costco but because it was raining they had to bring an umbrella. SV really enjoyed the extra room of the shopping trolleys where she could play. Lunch was a nice hot dog before heading back home.

A big box of presents

We received a big box of presents from Eric and Cheryl who were entirely too generous. SV had a good time counting the stamps before opening the package and discovering the bubble wrap. Eventually we started opening all the gifts. Can you guess which one was her favourite? To be fair she also really liked the clothes as well.

Baby bun

SV got to wear her hair in a bun which gave her a mischievous look. Actually it wasn't just a look. She then posed for the camera a little bit in her white dress.
