MV's curls

 MV was really keen to have curls going to school and KT made it happen. Surprisingly the curls managed to stay for the whole school day with a few still in place when she got home. The following day she had wavy hair. It was all happening. 

Rainy walk to get dinner

 TV took EV to pick up dinner because she was really quite keen to wear her rain kit. She really enjoyed the walk including a couple of pit stops along the way.

MV's first soccer awards picnic

 Despite having a covid interrupted season and only getting to play just over half the matches, MV's team still got together for an awards picnic. The kids had a great time and the adults actually did too. SV was at another birthday party but both MV and EV had a fantastic time playing with the other kids. MV wasn't terribly impressed with the photo, but then she was really excited to get a medal and a trophy. 

Saturday yum cha

 After almost a year we managed to catch up with our friends for yum cha again. We had a really good time and the food was fantastic. We had the perfect table with a view and plenty of space for the girls to work. They were very well behaved and all ate heaps. It was really nice to catch up with our friends and be able to have a relaxed conversation while having snacks. Since we were in a corner it wasn't quite as loud which made it nicer.

Single colour day

 The big girls had a fund raising event where they were meant to get dressed in a single colour. MV was a bit upset because she didn't have white shoes for the day, but eventually got over it. EV was not participating but was happy just to play with a stick.

Building with supervision

 SV was building a new lego under the watchful eyes of Setsuna. SV was building some of the people and toys, but then she moved on to making her own things. Rabbit was a bit dubious at first but then settled down just to watch.

Under the microscope

 The girls got the microscope out to have a look at one of SV's teeth that fell out. It was really interesting how smooth the outside of the tooth was but the inside was like a crystal. It was really quite pretty actually. The girls were really interested and patiently adjusted the various settings to see different things on the tooth.
