Corn on the cob

SV has recently discovered corn on the cob. Suffice it to say that she enjoys it. It's even better with a straw in the mouth while leaning back against the couch. Ever since she has learned to drink from a straw she has really enjoyed doing it and usually prefers it to drinking from a sippy cup.

Playing the comb

SV appears to be quite musically inclined. This time she found a comb in the bathroom and started playing it, entertaining not only herself but also us. She was quite pleased with herself in her slightly crazy outfit, ahem KT.

Biennale of Sydney

KT, SV and CeCe went out to Cockatoo Island to visit the major exhibition space of the Sydney Biennale. They had a great time looking at some of the exhibits, although they just didn't have enough time to see all of them. Here are some of the photographs they took at the island and while waiting for the free ferry.

Hanging out with KT and CeCe

SV really enjoyed having her Grandma CeCe around to play with her. The three of them had a lot of fun going out and staying in both. CeCe and SV enjoyed looking at the cars in the mornings waiting for buses to come by. The three of them even went to have Grandma CeCe get a hair cut which they were all admiring on the back of the camera.

SV the riveter

SV had a little head cover on that reminded us of the famous poster from the second world war showing Rosie the Riveter. Also a very cute photograph with Grandma CeCe just before bath time.

1st birthday for the mothers group

We went to the first birthday party for the babies in SV's mothers group. It was sort of an arbitrary date to celebrate all of the babies and do a gift exchange. We are also going to have a birthday party for SV, so look for the photographs here.

Modern art museum

SV and KT took Grandma CeCe to the Museum of Contemporary Arts at Circular Quay. They had a lovely day walking around the museum and the waterfront. Grandma CeCe has had some wonderfully sunny and mild winter days on this trip and we have all taken advantage of them.
