Weekend lunch in the city

We took SV into the city for lunch, but that was only the beginning. We stayed in our favourite hotel in the CBD again so that we could relax a little bit. We ended up having sushi rolls at Pitt St Mall and watching the people walk by. SV seemed to enjoy it along with the buskers playing their music. She got up and danced a bit too.

On the couch

Here are a couple of funny outfits and poses that SV has recently done while sitting on the couch. This is all her doing, we did not encourage this at all.

Little red rider

When we went to the shops KT saw a pair of what looked like horse riding pants so she decided to build an equestrian based outfit for SV. Below is the result although the boots are not exactly the ones KT picked out. SV felt like she needs a bit more sparkle in her outfit.

After school park time

It's kind of funny that right after getting picked up from school SV wants to go straight to the park right by the school to play more. This is despite the fact that the last part of her school day is spent running around on the playground with her friends. Oh well, she was too cute to say no to this time.
 

Bunny package

According to SV the best time to open a package is first thing in the morning. Makes it more like christmas, plus it gives you more time to play with the goodies inside.

Pretty astute observation for a 33 month old.

Little pig tails

SV is very happy to run around and work on her physical development as seen yesterday, but she is also very much interested in getting her hair done. She quite likes to wear her hair in pig tails but whenever she does it seems to make her more mischievous.

Tricycling to the park

SV is really making progress on a number of fronts. In this post she is demonstrating her confidence in riding her tricycle which she is now both steering and peddling, although the latter still with the help of someone pushing as well. She is also getting much better with the ball which she is getting better at throwing, catching and kicking. Her abilities to cling and hang on the playground has also improved significantly since coming back from the Sunshine Coast.
