MV's bestie

MV's bestie came over for a play date and they wanted to take some photographs together.

New family portraits

It has been quite a while since we did family portraits so we gave it a go. This time around a couple of special guests made an appearance including Setsuna.

Baby with helmet

MV really wanted a portrait of her face expression so we obliged. Since we had the camera out we also managed to capture a certain small person walking around with a helmet. She is currently really enjoying wearing it whereever she walks. We are also enjoying it because we know as soon as she actually needs to wear it, she will decidedly not be happy to do so.

EV's first family Lego play

It was the first time we all played with Legos together (except KT). The girls were each working on a set and TV was providing assistance where required. It was really fun, and EV was quite excited to be part of the fun as she has seen her sisters build things before but she wasn't really alowed to participate. We really need to work on building things with her more often as she is quite keen, although she did need a snack to recharge.

Pokemon body painting

MV wanted to do some body painting and SV suggested they draw pokemon. SV drew lots of different figures on both of them. They made sure to keep EV inside so she didn't mess up everything. MV got a Misty pokemon trainer and a blue Pikachu while SV got the trainer Ash and Pickachu. There are a few other drawings as well.

Seeing Betty and Ken

Auntie Betty and Uncle Ken are in town visiting. We caught up with them at the NSW Art Gallery. It was quite fun as the girls really looked at the art and we encouraged them to talk about what aspects they liked or didn't like. SV really liked the aboriginal art while MV liked a variety of things rather than any specific style. EV did well for a baby and mostly looked around although she was happiest when she was out of the pram and able to walk around. We had a snack out side before walking around some more and then having lunch at one of the cafes.

New pool

We got a new inflatible pool for hot days. We ran out of puff and ended up only inflating it half way, which actually ended up working ok as we filled it less. The gilrs still had a good time playing in the water and it warmed right up. They just wanted something to splash around in anyway.
