Funny expressions revisited

SV wanted to show everyone her facial expressions, so here they are.

Painting on the floor

SV has engaged in painting while laying down. It gives her an interesting perspective and the work she creates is actually a bit different.

Swimming again

Even though it's winter TV and SV still wanted to go to the pool for a swim. Luckily our local pool is heated and enclosed so it wasn't really a problem. SV had a blast and has built up a bit of resilience so she can stay in the pool for longer. She used to get chilly very quickly. She practised swimming on her own with flotties and with help without them.

Computer games

SV got her first computer type of game. She and KT played dress up on the laptop. SV had fun but was also a bit wary at the same time.

Darling Harbour park

There is a good park at Darling Harbour which has all sorts of fun things for SV to do. SV and TV caught the bus into the city so that she could have a play there. She liked the slides and tunnels, but it was really the sand and water features which she enjoyed the most. She used a piece of palm tree bark to build a footpath in the sand before she headed into the water with it. In the water it was both a scoop, a boat and even a brace. After a big day of playing TV took SV to a Vietnamese restaurant where she enjoyed her rice paper prawn rolls and veggies. She also partook in TV's spring roll, pork sausages and rice noodles. All that play certainly made her hungry.

Building a snowman

SV has been enthralled by the idea of snow, and of building a snowman. She got some cotton wipes and decided they were snow. She then gathered them up to make a snowman out of them. It was fun to see her being so imaginative. We may need to take a trip to the snow soon so she can really experience it herself.

First vitamin

SV had her first vitamin in the form of a jelly. She now asks for them on a regular basis. She is now very good at taking her medicines and vitamins.
