Our Bangkok airport hotel

We got an unexpectedly warm reception at our hotel which was actually very lovely. A welcome drink in the lounge set the mood as we got ready and headed to the pool. We were all excited to be out of the plane and able to stretch our legs, but none as much as EV. She thought it was hilarious to have a glass door on the toilet an to be able to close it whenever she wanted.The girls all really enjoyed running down the hallways and looking over the grand lobby.

Eurothai trip kicks off

We're off on another trip, this time to Europe and Thailand. We are on our way to celebrate Nagy's 90th birthday in style. First thing first though, getting there which is no small task from Sydney with 5 people. On the way to the airport we were pretty excited, with the possible exception of EV who was surprised to not be in a car seat, and consequently just sitting back relaxing. We got on our first 9 hour flight to Bangkok.

Too much fun

There is such a thing as too much fun. Or at least too much fun without sleeping which led to a certain person falling asleep at dinner.

Playing board games

We got a new vintage board game called Poison Ivy and the girls wanted to take it for a spin. KT played along, picking leaves from the pile and putting on a band aid every time a poison ivy leaf was picked. It was a fun and simple game which led to some good giggles.

Have boots and backpack, will travel

EV is getting ready for a trip and decided to try out her boots and backpack. For some reason she then put a bag on her head and laughed while running down the hallway. All that excitement led to a bit of a problem but that was easily overcome with some toys from her backpack.

Sister steps

The girls always seem to like sitting on the steps leading into the kitchen. Usually it's only one or two, but this time it was all three of them. They all had funny outfits and posed for the camera in their own ways. They ended up having a big sister cuddle before going and playing elsewhere.

EV exploring the park

Now that EV can walk confidently she is really enjoying time at the park. She is really exploring everything and trying it out. The swing is still popular but now she is branching out into all the apparatus. MV and SV also enjoyed the pleasant day at the park trying everything out and just generally running around.
