New hat

SV found one of her new hats and put it on randomly without us prompting her. She played for quite a while before she decided to take it off. That's quite unusual behaviour for her as she usually takes hats off right away.

Slide and swing

Between leaving and coming back from the US, SV has really matured. Her movements, abilities and interests have really developed. She now actually plays o the playground as compared to just running around before. She started that transition just before she left, but now it is really clear. She is turning into a little girl.

Happy (belated) Easter!

After having a satisfactory breakfast (peanut butter and honey sando and wheetbix with coconut), which is to say a big one, SV noticed her Easter loot. It was actually quite funny because she was so focused on getting her breakfast that she didn't even notice the Easter stuff on the couch. But when she did, she sure liked it. She had a couple of pieces of chocolate before she was done with it. Thank you all for your generous Easter gifts, they were well appreciated.

Back to the park

Our little zebra walked to the park to get some of the energy out and to take in some sunshine. The weather is still really nice before the winter weather comes in earnest so we are taking advantage as much as possible. The little zebra was happy to play with the other kids but she was always keeping an eye out for trouble.

Napping on the couch with CeCe

Grandma CeCe and SV both took a nap in their room, and then came out to the living room after. SV had a bit of a fitful sleep so she took a further nap on her Grandma while they sat on the couch. Then she was in a top mood when she woke up.

Happy reunion

Following up from yesterdays quick post, here are a few more photographs and a bit more of a back-story  After their respective trips we have joined back up in Sydney. TV arrived back a day earlier and had a chance to get everything ready for the arrival of KT, SV and CeCe. They arrived in good spirits after a long journey which was actually tolerable. SV was on good behaviour and managed to sleep a couple of hours. Everyone then had an early night after settling in.
