Across the waterway

 The girls were playing in the yard with their favourite accessory, the crutches. KT then took them across the waterway to have a look on the other side. TV stayed home to clean the cabin up a bit and begin packing as we had to head back home.

Truckee River continued

 We kept walking along the river because it was just so pleasant. Eventually we had to turn back and decided to take an inland path which was still very nice. By taking the inland path we managed to find a geocache with EV leading the way. We had a lovely walk and felt like we earned our lunch.

Upper Truckee River walk

 We went for a walk along the Upper Truckee River to enjoy the outdoors. It was a short drive and a nice walk along the flowing waterway. There were little pockets of snow waiting for us to play in even as the sun was keeping us nice and warm. We kept looking for animals including crayfish but we didn't see any.

Playing at the arcade

 The girls were playing outside to soak up some of that warm sun. Afterwards we went to the casino so they could play a few games. We had a good time playing games together and the girls were remarkably successful at the claw machine games. Couldn't hardly hold all of their prizes.

Riding and walking

 We went for a morning ride along the highway to Emerald Bay. The separated bike path is away from the road and weaves through the trees, making it quite pleasant. We stopped at one spot where there was a boardwalk trail through the wetlands. It was nice to walk through and look at the vistas, unfortunately we didn't see any animals other than birds this time. We continued riding after a snack and building of a pine cone footpath. We reached some snow that the girls played with briefly before turning back and heading home.

Heading to Tahoe

 We got the car packed to and headed up the hill to Tahoe. Once we got up there we did a little bit of repair on the place before taking some time relax. One of our relaxing activities was to work on some puzzles and we managed to finish a couple of them.
