Box fort building

MV was really enjoying playing with some of the packing boxes and building forts. SV eventually joined her but that did create some territorial disputes. They had fun though, just with a bit of negotiating.

Post dance treat

After dancing for over half an hour the girls needed to have something to cool down. A ice pop was just the ticket. They were quite serious about eating them too. Perhaps they used up all their mirth in the dancing.

Living room dance

TV turned on the music in the house and the girls really got into the groove. They both wanted to do their own dancing to the fast beat.

Archaeology class

SV led a mini archaeology class focusing on digging out dinosaur fossils. The other kids were very interested and watched her technique carefully. MV was her assistant and helped clear off some of the debris. Eventually SV allowed the others to try their hand as well.

Cats on a couch

These two kitties wanted to wear their dresses to match. They did some kids yoga before running around together. There were quite a few meows all day.

Fun rides for all

The adults also got to ride some big rides as well. KT had a good time as did TV, until he got off that is. He was a feeling a bit queasy and it took a little while to recover. Connie island was good though and everyone liked the big slides. A final dance and song then saw us head home.

Fun on the carousel and beyond

We again went to Luna Park for a bit of fun. MV is now really starting to enjoy the rides, particularly the carousel. The girls both also enjoy riding the rides together, particularly without the adults. They feel quite independent.
