Early gifts from Grandma

On her last day Grandma CeCe gave us all our Christmas presents and had us open them. SV made out like a bandit again with some pretty sweet walkie talkies which have since been put into use, thank you Ron. Everyone got into the action with the animal masks. SV's favourite was 'all of them'. At least she doesn't discriminate.

UTS Rowing Club

We took Grandma CeCe to the UTS Rowing Club which overlooks the Bay Run near our house. It's a lovely place on the water to see the sun set and the lights come on, especially since they completely rebuilt it. The food is good too although this time there was quite a wait. We had a really nice time despite SV getting fidgety. She could tell that something was up, and that Grandma CeCe was leaving the next day.

Haberfield Festa

It's Italian for festival. Or so they say.

We met up with a couple of TV's co-workers and walked around trying out a couple of different treats. There was also a performance being put on by the local school, as well as a professional, sort of, Frozen-inspired show. SV's big moment came when she got to ride a pony. She liked it, but three laps was about enough for her.

Halloween at Luna Park

Lune Park was putting on a Halloween celebration and since we had season passes we could attend for free. Turned out to be heaps of fun as not only did the employees dress up, but so did a lot of people attending. SV got a trick or treat bag and got to do a bit of trick or treating as a fairy princess. Of course we got to go on the rides as well, and even managed to thrill Grandma CeCe on some of them. For the most part SV was the happiest little clam out there.

Halloween fairy

For Halloween SV dressed up as a fairy, also a ladybird. Her favourite was the fairy though. We then headed out to the harbour enjoying the views before heading to Luna Park for the Halloween celebration. Before we left SV studied the map so that she wouldn't miss a thing. She also did a bit of practice flying and wand waving so she would be ready for the big celebration.

Dancing with Grandma CeCe

SV and Grandma did a bit of dancing and then worked on their funny faces. Generally a good time was had by all.

Watching old films

We all sat and watched some of the old films that Grandma CeCe brought of KT growing up. It was really interesting to see them, we could pick up many of SV's mannerisms in what KT did. It was very interesting and fun to see, especially while eating Lebanese treats.
