Princess Anna

SV got a Princess Anna (from the movie Frozen) dress which she really likes. She asked KT put her hair in 'Anna plats' to complete the look. It was hard not to take some photographs of her in the outfit.

Meeting up with Jason and Chris

Our friend Jason and his partner were in town visiting from San Francisco. We had a chance to catch up with them and have brunch. They were staying in a really nice place in Surry Hills so we had heaps of choices. At first SV was a bit shy meeting Jason and Chris, but she quickly warmed up and we all had lots of fun. 

New Year's BBQ

Lynda and Norman always put on a delicious spread and this time was no different. Well one small difference was that there was a new guest, Cailin the new addition to the family. We had a great time talking to everyone and it was a real pleasure to catch up with Leah again. SV had a lot of fun, especially when Prudence got comfortable with her and they started playing together.

Last swim of 2014

We received an invite to Lynda and Norman's house for one more swim and to bring in the New Year. SV and her friend Prudence were very glad to get into the pool. KT and Leon had fun too, but not as much as the two girls. They both did really well with their swimming which made everyone proud.

Road trip wrap up

We had a good time on our trip, seeing some beautiful places and having a lot of fun. SV got to know Andrea and Jonathan a lot better and was very happy to play with them. She also enjoyed her alone time. Although not as much as jumping on the big pillow at the campervan park. Thank you to Andrea for some of the photographs we used on the blog. More wine tasting

After a long trip through country New South Wales we ended up in the Hunter Valley for a bit more wine tasting and a chance to relax a bit. SV appreciated the chance to run around if not exactly the wine. She got some good exercise in before we found a wonderful little winery with some delicious wines. The setting and view were both great. It was a good way to end the trip before the final drive home.

Cheese tasting again

We found another cheese tasting shop which was quite exciting. SV was no less excited than the rest of us. She was keen to try all of the cheeses and she even expressed her opinion and preference. She didn't even mind trying the blue cheeses. The man who was conducting the cheese tasting was quite impressed.
