Roller coaster project

We have kicked off another Lego project. This time we are building a roller coaster which as you may be able to tell by the number of pieces, is going to be quite large. MV and SV both got involved in building it as it will take a fair while to put together. We had Babicka on the phone supervising the construction remotely and making sure that we are being Covid-safe compliant.

Wrapping up Halloween 2020

 As any other good Halloween we ended this one handing out lollies while eating pizza and hanging out with our friends. The Pumpkins kept watch on the street all night and even the rain didn't dampen spirits too much.

Trick or treating Covid style

Covid certainly put a bit of a damper on trick or treating this year, but then again so did the thunderstorm. Didn't really matter as most of the kids still got to go out. Ours really enjoyed it, particularly EV who was learning the finer points from her big sisters. It all went quite smoothly despite everything.

Waiting to kick off

We were all ready and dressed up, just waiting for the trick or treaters to kick off. We had our lollies ready and just needed kids to start stopping in. In the meantime we made our own fun, mostly making silly faces. 

The Bat

 SV has been wanting to be a bat all year and she re-purposed her dragon wings into bat wings. KT did her face make up and she was ready to go. 

Little Devil revisited

 EV wore this costume last year, but this year she really made it her own. She played her part very well, being both cute and troublesome. She liked wearing the costume and she knew that she looked cute so played up to it.

MV The Witch

 We got this witch costume for MV for last year's Halloween but she really didn't want to wear it. This year on the other hand she was super keen. She tried out several options, being a good witch and an evil witch, but in the end she is just too happy and acted as herself.
