MV's first dental check up

We all headed into the city because we all had dentist appointments at the same time. It was MV's first and SV was really supportive. She held MV's hand and told her reassuring stories. MV ended up doing really well and was very happy to get a sticker. She didn't mind when we said we'll take her again next time. SV breezed through her check up like a pro despite it only being her third time.

T-rex trouble

MV got her T-rex out to play with. She felt like she needed glasses like KT to be able to operate it. She was having lots of fun until she grabbed it and it gave her a little bite. She cried but mummy gave her comfort. SV was more careful and calmed the T-rex with a book before playing with it.

Dress up for the babysitter

TV and KT headed out for a nice night at the opera. The girls were really excited to have a baby sitter and got all dressed up for the occasion. They ended up having a good time and behaved very nicely.

Matching game

After school and little school the girls came home and got their matching cards out. They played quietly until dinner time. It was almost too quiet but when we checked they were playing nicely.

Jumping jelly beans

A few more photographs from our formal shoot with a couple of jumping jelly beans. Or were they ballerinas. Either way, this was a fun way to get them to enjoy the photo shoot.

Party juggler

The party entertainer was a juggler. He was not the best juggler ever, but he was really good with the kids. They were all entranced, and even got to learn how to juggle and spin plates. They all had a good time practicing before eventually heading back to the playground.

Ben's birthday party

Both MV and SV got invited to their friend Ben's birthday party. It was fun as half the kids were older and go to school with SV while the other half were younger and go to school with MV. It was great as the kids could climb on the play equipment and run around as much as they liked while the adults could sit at tables and enjoy a beverages and snacks. MV worked on her climbing skills without fear, while SV organised make believe games for everyone.
