Parkour kitty

EV was running around the park doing all sorts of activities. She was pushing her abilities climbing and jumping on all the equipment. She did really well though.

Tar pits

We're trying to figure out whether EV has taken her knowledge of dinosaurs to the next level by introducing tar pits. Or just having fun with slime and her dolls. Either way she had fun seeing what happens and working out how to get the stuff off.

Last of the Forest Loop

After a break to refuel with some fruit we continued on our walk. A few more gummy snakes ensured that we all finished strong, with enough energy to jump around on the rocks. The girls liked this second stream which was a bit more sedated. Great bush walk with some happy walkers.

More from the Forest Loop

We continued our bush walk along one stream. There were a few stops along the way to take in the views and have some snacks. The girls certainly enjoyed their snacks and had fun with them. They managed to make them last for quite some time.

Forest Path Loop

TV took the girls on a bush walk which was originally meant to take in a walk on the beach and views of the ocean from clifftops. Unfortunately due to rain the roads were closed and we couldn't quite get there, so we ended up doing a different walk. This forest loop was a nice and easy 4.5kms through some really lush forest full of gumtrees, palms and ferns. There were a couple of small streams to cross and a bit of mud to contend with. The girls took it all in stride though.

Cleaning up their rooms

TV asked the girls to clean their rooms because they had gotten quite messy. He then walked away only to come back to all three kids dressed in winter gear. Eventually though they cleaned up and actually did a great job.

Government appointment

TV took SV for a little trip to North Sydney for a government appointment. We ended up taking the bus and train to get there. It was 50 minutes of travel each way for a 5 minute appointment, but we resolved to not have the trip be a waste of our time. So on the way back we stopped in the city for some lunch and walked around a bit. It was great to be in the city again, particularly as it is starting to get more lively now.
