Morning tea party

 The girls were having a tea party in the morning. They were actually enjoyed each having a cup of tea. It was really nice as they also had a chat.

TV's birthday dinner

 After a lovely day we finished the day off with a Japanese dinner at the cottage. TV also got congratulated on his birthday and got to open up his presents. It was really nice and a great way to celebrate.

More from our walk

 The second half of our bushwalk was no less spectacular as we visited a couple of waterfalls. The views were also quite expansive even as we walked below some of the overhanging cliffs. See if you can spot MV in the sixth photograph for a bit of a challenge. At the end of the walk we had bananas for a bit of energy before heading out for some well earned lunch.

Wentworth Falls cliff walk

 Last time we did this bushwalk it was rainy and the clouds were so low that we didn't see the view at all. This time we waited for a lovely clear day and went back to see what we missed. Turns out we missed some spectacular views, made even better with the wispy morning fog hanging in the valley below.

Katoomba cottage yard

 We have been quite lucky because the places we have stayed in the Blue Mountains have all had really lovely yards. This time was no different and the girls really enjoyed exploring and sitting in the gardens. They even found a small secret garden through a gate which they explored.

 After a very busy couple of weeks we needed a little bit of down time to just relax. We spent part of the morning taking it easy with the kids drawing and the adults sitting quietly. We all enjoyed not having to rush about.

Star watching at the Three Sisters

 Since we were staying so close to the Three Sisters TV took SV for an evening walk to look at the stars. It was quite lovely despite the strong breeze. The clouds came and went showing and hiding the stars and moon. It was good to see the new walkways and amphitheatre section that has recently been built.
