Sink bath

MV needed a bath and the sink was just the right size. Uncle Jonathan provided the moral support and entertainment which made the entire experience heaps of fun.

Heading home again

While it was a fairly short trip for SV and TV it was certainly full of activity. Of course eventually we had to head home and the time had come. Luckily we again took advantage of our lounge access to relax and at a little bit before our flight. Once on the plane we had good seats and SV made sure to familiarise herself with the safety booklet. We had a good flight home and got straight back into our normal life.

Seeing some of the sights in SF

We got to San Francisco early and decided to check out the sights since SV hadn't ever been there before. She liked seeing the seals at pier 39 and then checking out the mechanical museum. There some of the old favourites were still there like the creepy laughing guy and the opium den machines. SV liked the mechanical horse and the buffalo scene fascinated her as well. We took the scenic way back to the car and it was interesting to see how much that part of the city has grown and yet there are more homeless people than ever.

Unitrans visit

On the way to San Francisco we stopped in Davis to check out our old stomping grounds. TV was really excited to show SV the old buses he used to drive. It was really a special thing to see them still there and running, especially the old London double deckers. We got to walk around and look at them all and SV had heaps of fun. Hopefully next time we can stop in and go for a ride.

Morning before flying home

We all had a relaxed breaky in our pajamas before SV and TV had to get their stuff together and head off. Not sure whether it made it easier or harder on everyone knowing that KT and MV were staying a bit longer. We certainly made the most of it.

Family dinner

We had a family dinner at Auntie Lanie's house and pretty much everyone stopped by for at least a little while.

Enjoying the park

We had an opportunity to go to the park on an absolutely lovely day. The girls really enjoyed playing and Grandma CeCe had fun supervising and taking photographs of them. Everyone else sat back and enjoyed the weather and the kids. It was a really nice way to spend the afternoon.
