The girls had a bit of a down day and they played with a whole bunch of their toys. They started with their remote control cars and ended up playing with their dolls for quite some time. They made up all sorts of stories in which the dolls took part, very creative.
The summer break has finished up again, too soon for some and not soon enough for others. Alas it was time for the girls to head to school and meet their new classmates and teachers. There were mixed feelings for both girls.
The girls all independently dressed up to watch the television and do some yoga. Clearly they were captivated.
As part of her present KT got to go into the Quokka enclosure to give them a pat and to feed them. She really enjoyed it as they are quite friendly little critters. She really enjoyed it. Afterwards we got to look at a few more animals and really get in to examine them, including the wallaby with a joey in her pouch.
We got to pat heaps of animals because there were not very many people there. The animals were also happy for it since they got snacks. We got there at a good time as well because almost all of the animals were out and about. EV was a bit warry of the animals at first but got over it. MV on the other hand was more than happy to play with them, even when the animals didn't know the game. SV was observing the animals and making mental notes along the way.
