Pizza making

SV is currently quite interested in cooking and baking. So we are encouraging her in this so she can understand how food is prepared. This time we made pizzas at home and we let her put them together for all of us. It works really well because it keeps her engaged, but then she is also very happy to eat the food she made herself.

Ashfield park

We had the GoGet for a few hours so we decided to take SV to a new park before we had to return it. She had a great time exploring, especially in the undergrowth which was like a mini jungle for her.

Mr Tickle

SV had book week at school and so she picked one of the Mr Men books to share. As part of book week the kids brought in their books and also dressed as the characters in the books. She wanted to be Mr Tickle with his extraordinarily long arms. In the photograph below she was looking for somebody to tickle, anybody to tickle.

Running in the rain

The last week or so it has been raining quite heavily after a fairly dry winter. We took advantage of the rainy weather to let SV wear all of her rain gear which she likes and go for a walk. She had a blast, and we did too. Along the way she found a 'doggie' which she took on our walk. The rain made for a wonderfully lazy Sunday where we didn't feel too much pressure to do anything.

Putting her poster up

SV requested to put up her giraffe poster on her wall, making it the first poster of her own choosing. TV helped her put it up, doing a better job of it then putting in her bunny ears. She is very proud of it and the fact that she got to put it up.

Musical cards

As we have mentioned before, SV really likes musical cards. She often plays with them until the batteries go flat. This particular christmas one comes out quite often, and she now sings along with it.

Floor nap

TV and SV had a cuddle and a quick nap on the floor. Ok, maybe calling it a nap is a bit of an over statement. SV was very considerate, covering up both herself and TV before snuggling in.
