SV's 6th birthday congratulations

For SV's 6th birthday we again did the traditional birthday congratulations. SV thought it was quite fun and she really got into it. They had fun over acting for the camera. Of course opening presents was even more fun and both the girls were excited to open their presents.

Mosaic moment

KT and SV decided to get creative and mosaic art. They got quite involved and made some nice pictures. They had a good time together.

Finishing up at jungle buddies

After lunch the girls got to play a bit more before we finished up and headed home. Before going the two of them made the most of it, running around together. It was so fun watching them running and sliding everywhere.

SV at jungle budies again

For SV's actual birthday we went to Jungle Buddies as she requested. We were lucky as it wasn't very busy and the kids got to do everything they wanted. We had lunch and enjoyed chatting before the kids went back to playing. It is really good to see how both the kids have progressed in what activities they do. SV used to be scared of the guns and balls area, but now she spent quite a bit of time in there playing happily.

Backyard tenting

After horse camp we had to air out the tent and clean it off. MV made the most of it since she didn't get to go camping before. She had lots of fun going in and out, which of course meant it took a fair bit longer to get the tent clean.

Morning fun

It was a nice relaxed morning and SV got her egg out to soak it in water and see what hatched. She was excited to see what happens as was MV. Eventually a fairy came out of the egg which was exciting for both of them. SV then decided to make an ice cream stand and started selling in the dining room.

Yum cha time again

We caught up with Uncle Adam and Brad again since we haven't seen them since Bali. Yum cha is a great place to catch up and the girls were excited at the prospect of dumplings. We took the bus and then ate ourselves silly. In the evening the girls watched a movie while we made dinner. The cookbook holder made a perfect stand.
