It was such a pleasant evening that we really wanted to take a little walk after dinner. We walked around the harbour beach and watch the last of the light fade over the horizon. The girls really liked being up and out of the house after dark like that.
Sydney was about to enter a second Covid lockdown, but just before we did we went out have a sunset picnic. It was a bit cold, although EV refused to acknowledge it, so we mostly got bundled up. It was nice to watch the sun set as we ate our sandwiches.
The princesses were really keen to get into their castle. TV had to undertake some quick repairs though to ensure its structural integrity. Once it was up and safe they all climbed in and closed the gates. They were really happy to sit inside playing and reading.
Here are a couple of snapshots of the girls. Quite representative, although EV may not be quite so relaxed all of the time. She was waiting for lunch while SV enjoyed cheese and bread for an after dinner snack. MV decided it would be fun to wear her school skirt as a top and dance around the house.
KT somehow talked EV into getting her hair curled. She managed to do just over half of EV's head before EV ran out of patience and wanted to move on. It looked quite nice though.
Or at least all three girls wore a lovely dress. They just felt like it despite not having anywhere to go. Maybe it was to celebrate the last day before we have to go into lockdown again.
SV put up her manifesto for the day Par-tee. EV was happy to subscribe to it, but she wanted to make her mark as well and drew a picture of TV including his hair sticking up on that particular morning.
