Wicker chair

Sometimes SV likes to relax, not often mind you, but sometimes. Here she was really enjoying just sitting back and peeling her mandarin before getting up and helping TV get his kit in order for some photographs.

Lunch or which family is mine

SV has started to go to other families for lunch. This time she went and sat on someone else's picnic blanket while they weren't there and claimed it as her own. When they did return she had been eating her lunch but she put it down and asked for a bite of their sandwich. They were kind enough to do so and she sat there with them for a while.

Smelling the roses

As a busy toddler SV rarely has time to stop and smell the roses, but because we were on holiday she took time out of her schedule to do so. Of course it was too much of an ask for her to smell the roses AND take family portraits. Girl has a lot to do and see after all.

Watcha watchin?

SV and Harriet both played very nicely almost the entire weekend. Here they both sat in the chair and watched a show on the mobile phone while the adults got dinner ready.

The red coat and the horse

SV really likes animals, but she also likes to keep a respectable distance. We like this and encourage this. Here she got to see a horse at a close distance but she was quite shy about approaching it for a pat. After hiding behind KT where she got a good look, SV decided to walk off into a field and have a few minutes of alone time, although she just couldn't get away from those pesky paparazzi.

Playing inside

The advantage of a big house was that SV and the other toddlers could really run around and play. Of course for parents it meant that much more vigilance. While we were at it we made sure to have a camera to capture the hi jinx that they got into, like walking on their knees and reading.

Shower buddies

All three of the toddlers got into one of the showers and had a grand old time. They al played very nicely and shared rather well. SV really enjoyed the hot water running down her head. She didn't complain about getting water into her eyes at all.
