Grandma CeCe and Lanie

We went shopping for some things on our to buy list with both Grandma CeCe and Lanie. We hit up popular shops like Nordstrom and Sephora. Things are just so much cheaper in the US than in AU.

Jon and La Bec

We have seen several people already in the Sacramento with SV giving everyone smiles and laughs. Both Jon and Becca had a cuddle with her.

First casino

We went to Red Hawk casino for a buffet. The dinner was nice but at the end both KT and TV got Red Hawked with their desserts. Brad saved the day though with a big win on the Wheel of Fortune pokie.

Sasha's Papi

Sashi's Papi finally has a chance to hold little SV. They have been enjoying each others company, laughing, playing and even napping together. It has been so nice watching them play together.

First time in the snow

We took our little baby seal up to the snow for the first time. She really enjoyed it, we pulled her along on a plastic bag instead of a sled. Had to use what was available.

On the way to the USA

The first two flights are over and we are in Sacramento. Here are a few more photographs from our flight, including one of the wings from the A380 we were flying on which has a wingspan of 79.75m (261.6ft).

At the shops

We went for a late night ice cream shopping trip. SV got to ride in the shopping cart in her car seat.

In the grass

SV had another chance to laze around in the grass in a small neighbourhood park while her mum got her hairs cut. The photograph was taken using infrared film which creates the strange ghost effect.

When babies attack

People think of babies as docile and gentle creatures, well they are wrong. Just look at the carnivorous habits of this blood thirsty baby. She was just shaking with anticipation of the bite. First she lured us in with her "cute" laugh and then it was all we could do to fight her off and save most of our limbs.

Reading with mum

In the last couple of weeks SV has really started paying attention to books and seems to enjoy reading. She has been looking at the pictures and even turning pages, not always at appropriate times though.
