MV's match

 MV's team is really improving as is she individually. Despite the cold weather MV had a good match. They played a tough team and played well. Here are some action shots.

 It was a really cold day so the kids were quite wiggly as they tried to stay warm. The photographer also set up in a tricky spot where some kids were sitting in direct sun. This led to some funny faces. MV did really well though.

Wrapping up MV's 6th birthday

 After all of that mini golfing and running around, the kids were hungry. Luckily it was time for some rather tasty pizza and water to rehydrate. Afterwards we had the cake which was enjoyed all. Then the kids danced and played a bit before the party was over. MV was really excited by the fact that she got to take the helium filled balloons home. She also insisted that all of the ladies get a photo together in the pink car.

 The party continued with all sorts of action along the putting greens. MV was having a blast and so was EV who well and truly got into the action. SV was enjoying it but in a more subdued sort of way. She felt a little left out as she was older and didn't have any friends there. She enjoyed playing with EV and certainly took the game a bit more seriously.

MV's 6th birthday party

 MV has been super excited about her birthday and her party in particular. She got to invite her friends to an indoor mini golf place. They started with a chat and getting to know the rules before going and playing on the variously themed holes. Both MV and SV got a couple of hole in ones on the first 9 holes. EV wasn't terribly keen to play, she was happy to lay on the Van Gogh bed. Although the mini golf proved to be a little too irresistible in the end. 

MV's birthday cake

 The whole family pitched in to decorate and make MV's birthday cake this year. We were a bit pressed for time so bought a regular cake and decided to spend our effort in decorating it. It was really fun, kind of like building a gingerbread house. Everyone helped and had fun and possibly a few lollies along the way. The cake turned out well and MV really liked it.
