After waking up we took in the view which was quite good. We then headed upstairs for the breakfast buffet which had an even better view. The buffet was extensive and everything was again delicious. The girls were especially excited to finish breaky with an ice cream.
On the way back to the room we stopped in to see the tree which was now lit up nicely. Once in the room the girls enjoyed the star and arora lights above their beds. We also very much enjoyed the view from the balcony while sipping a nice glass of wine. SV enjoyed just sitting up and having a chat.
We had dinner at the top of the hotel with a view across all of Pattaya. The food was actually really good as were the drinks. The sunset didn't disappoint despite being partially covered by the sun. It was good too because we were a bit tired after the travel and excitement.
There was so much to do and see at the hotel so we just went exploring for a little bit before dinner. We visited the arcade and kids zone. We also painted our hands on the interactive wall on the way back through the lobby. We also looked at the extensive waterpark and pools, more on that later.
As soon as we arrived at the space hotel we knew we made a good choice. The lobby was really cool and they really embraced the spacce theme throughout. It also helped that our view was fantastic.
We got picked up at the airport in Bangkok in a fabulous van. The van then took us to our hotel in Pattaya, but the transfer was fun on its own. Although the gentle rocking of the van did mean that a few of us nodded off for a little bit. Our flight though was much less luxurious on a low cost airline which saw TV not be able to even sit straight. It was fine though and we got through the airport really quickly.
After a wonderful time staying with out friends we had to say good bye to them and KL. It was time for us to head to Thailand for Uncle Marek's wedding. We were happy to have a breaky in the lounge before flying aboard an AirAsia flight for the first time. We had a fine flight since it was less than 2 hours, but TV suffered as the leg room was very tight.
