Visiting Babička in hospital

The girls got all dressed up so that we could go cheer up Babička in hospital. Once we got there they were both very popular with the staff and patients alike. They seemed to cheer everyone one up a bit. SV then helped Babička with her lunch just in case.

Babička in hospital

Sadly Babička is in hospital where we went to visit her. She was crossing the road on a green light when a car turned and hit her. The accident was completely the driver's fault but Babička ended up with some serious injuries. Luckily she is recovering well with the help of a couple of little ladies cheering her up.

This is a good lesson,  albeit painfully won,  that it is important to be vigilant when crossing the road both as a driver and as a pedestrian.

We are very happy that Babička is doing well and that nothing worse happened.

Birthday invitation

SV got her first invitation in the mail for a birthday party. She was very excited to receive it and open it. We're pretty sure she will also enjoy the party itself. Meanwhile MV had a great nap although she was a bit stiff. She kept her arms and legs rigid like that for an hour or so.

Cuddles with Babicka

Both the girls are enjoying having Babička around. They are making the most of their time by giving her cuddles when possible. Babička is certainly enjoying it as well.

Inside day

After a couple of really busy days we had fun just hanging out around the house. SV had a cream cheese mustache which set the silly tone for the rest of the day. Even Grandpa Brad got in on the silliness.

New park

We took SV to a new park where she explored some new features. She did really well although she didn't quite trust the mesh viewing platform. She is quite the little climber and quite enjoyed the slippery dip in the way down.
