Preparing to carve pumpkins

 We managed to get some cheap pumpkins from Costco this year and the girls had quite large canvases to work on. They drew up their faces and started carving with enthusiasm.

MV goes climbing

 Once we got to the climbing gym MV got right into it. She climbed up to the cave as her first ascent with no problems. She then did some of the longest climbs before going to the kid ones. In the kids area she managed to climb every route including the crevasse. We did some bouldering too where she did quite a lot too. She learned quite quickly as when she got stuck she backtracked a few times to find a different set of holds to get past a difficult section.

MV rides on the Ducati

 MV has been really wanting to go on the back of the Ducati for quite some time. She really wanted to have a similar day to what SV got, ride the motorcycle to the rock climbing gym and do some climbing. She finally got her wish and it was a perfect day for it. She had a great time and enjoyed riding the bike even more than the climbing. We topped off the day with a delicious gelato.

Visiting Jake's park

 It is a park that the girls like to visit every once in a while to remember playing there with their friend. This time EV and MV came along and played well together as MV helped EV on to the flying fox. They also ate some of the ripe mulberries right off the tree.

KT's Masters degree graduation

 Big congratulations are in order for KT who finished her Masters degree with a nice graduation ceremony. KT did a fantastic job earning top marks across her subjects and really learning quite a lot. It was very fitting for her to have a nice ceremony to cap it all off. Afterwards we had a nice lunch with our friends Mat and Gemma to celebrate. 

Pre-swimming

 MV and SV like to get to the pool a little early and do a little pre-swimming prior to their lessons starting. While the formal lesson is good for their improvement, there is nothing quite like having free time in the pool to play and splash around. All three girls enjoy that and really just like being in the water.

Decorating for Halloween

 We were making the house oh so spooky for Halloween again. The girls had fun putting up the decorations, especially the skeleton and the multitude of spiders.
