A reunion with Grandma CeCe

We went to the airport today to await the arrival of  Grandma CeCe who will be staying with us for a couple of weeks. SV immediately recognised her and said G'day to her. SV stayed up way past her bedtime to go to the airport but she was very good.

Standing by the bath

Even fuly dressed SV enjoys hanging out by the bath tub just in case someone wants to let her play in the water. It was hard not to take this photograph as it is the first and most likely last time she will be wearing a short skirt if we have our way.

Crazy hair day

SV had her first crazy hair day. It was the result of wearing a hat and hood on her trip. Her hair is getting long, to the point that KT managed to put a small clip into it briefly.

Matilda's Birthday

We were invited to Matilda's second birthday party which was in North Ryde. It required a bit of an adventure to get there, but we managed to arrive on time. It was a lovely day and so the party was mostly outdoors with SV loving the new toys that she got to play with. The slide and little car were her favourites. SV enjoyed playing with Tilly, and they were very sweet towards each other. Thanks for the invite Marc and Miriam.

Swim time

It has been a while since we took SV to the pool, so we had an outing to the Leichhardt Aquatics Centre. As usual SV had a great time to the point that she didn't want to get out even though she was cold. She was working on using her arms in a breast stroke style.

Peace baby

SV is working for peace, but she also has street cred in her new kicks! She encourages everyone to work towards peace as well, so that she and her generation have a nice world to grow up in.

One more from our walk. We stopped to have a drink and SV crawled all over us and the bench.

In the park with a friend

SV and Harriet were hanging out in the park, enjoying a treat. Here are some of the photographs showing them playing. They both also enjoyed the ride home in their respective chariots (aka prams).

SV was waiting for us to finish hanging out the laundry. We caught her while she was sneezing in her new Hello Kitty shoes.

Hippy rainbow bear walk part 2

We had a gear walk but some of us didn't quite make it home. She really tried but the lull of the bouncing pram was just a bit too much for her.

Our little bee shirt wearing kid put on a All Blacks (the New Zealand national rugby team) nappy. It was in celebration of New Zealand's winning of the World Rugby Cup.
