Mudge festival

Our first overnight stop was in Mudge where we happened to arrive on a festival day. It was a relatively small affair but we still enjoyed walking around. Afterwards we looked for a place to eat, finally deciding on the brewery which had really good reviews. We were a little bit surprised at how good the food actually was. After dinner we were in a good mood as exemplified by SV who literally skipped back to the camp site.

On the road again

We are on the road again for a bit of a road trip. Auntie Andrea and Uncle Jonathan are coming along with us as well. SV is enjoying the caravan again, remembering last year's trip to NZ with Uncle Richie. This is a slightly different trip but no less fun. She was quite excited to go camping when we told her about the trip. SV is much more independent now and is generally happy to sit in the back with a few of her activities for a couple of hours before we need to pull over which makes it much easier.

Jonathan and Andrea arrive

After picking SV up from school we all went to pick up Uncle Jonathan and Auntie Andrea from the airport.  On the way we got held up by some 'helpers' before running into the travellers. We all had a delicious dinner before heading home. It was really good to see them and catch up with some local gossip from the US.

Pember babysiting

SV's favourite babysitter came over to take care of her while KT and TV went to Cirque de Soleil. Pember gave SV an early present which she really liked. It was a book from the movie Frozen, but SV was added as an extra character.

Uncle Adam's birthday Part 2

After getting the party started SV took a bit of a break to relax a bit. She found a bit of a private area where she worked on her drawing for a while. She then played with her cards before joining the party again. By then the party was in full swing with the singer and band going to town on some of Adam's favourite songs. It was a great party and everyone including us had a good time.

Uncle Adam's birthday Part 1

Uncle Adam had his big 30th birthday party to which we were all invited. Unfortunately KT couldn't attend as it was her last day of work, but that didn't stop TV and SV having fun. SV was the dedicated gift giver and bubble maker. After a bit of a snack she had a go at the drums, although she still has some growing to do. There were also a few uninvited guests that came in to beg for a free meal while we enjoyed the view.

Going on a road trip

We are on our way for the last holiday of the year. A quick road trip to Byron Bay and Ballina. It's going to be fun, camping along the way. Stay tuned for some updates, but you'll have to wait for a little while. Here's the whole gang.

Mini pedi and mani

KT gave SV a mini pedicure and manicure. SV really enjoyed it. She got to pick out the colour or colours and chose to go all pink this time. We'll see how long it lasts though as SV was already touching them and seeing if they will scrape off.
